Instruments
Instruments generate sound internally, respond to MIDI, or use loaded audio as their source. The section also includes s3g Tracker and s3g Relay, MIDI-generating CLAPs that sequence downstream instruments without producing audio themselves. Spatial instruments also appear under Ambisonic Encoders. Processor Ambi Grain is listed under Ambisonic Effects as well: use it to granulate loaded ACN/SN3D media while keeping the encoded field coherent.

- s3g Tracker: a host-synchronized polymetric MIDI sequencer with a resizable VSTGUI workspace, static/centered/paged playback views, pattern and Song modes, Geometry, Bursts, Phrases, Assemble, Reshape, timing Warps, Live Code, and MIDI recording. It drives downstream instruments through one channel-addressed MIDI output; it does not generate audio. See the guide for current Mac and Windows test-build status.
- s3g Relay: a host-synchronized neural-control MIDI sequencer with eight assignable note/CC relays, recirculating memory, and climate-lattice long form instead of patterns or clips.
- Drums: synthesized mono/stereo drum instruments, the companion Drum Overload effect, and an eight-lane stereo Drum Mixer 16.
- Generative Instruments: internally synthesized and input-responsive feedback, modal, physical, byte, terrain, weather, liquid, pulsaret, stochastic, and logic systems, including Processor Lowform, Processor LF Synth, Processor Stack, and Processor Conduit.

Routing
Check the instrument's output format before inserting it. Processor LF Synth, Processor Lowform, Processor Stack, Processor Conduit, and Processor Errant use ordinary stereo output; Conduit accepts a stereo bus and can listen to channel 1, channel 2, their mono sum, or the full stereo pair. Processor Fissure and Processor Fault use one eight-channel host bus and switch their active projection internally among Stereo, Quad, and 8 Direct; Fault also rotates its eight-lane ring before projection. Processor Feedback Shift, Processor No Input Mixer, and the loop instruments use ordinary multichannel lanes; route them to the intended main speaker outputs, a downstream direct panner, or Output Autogain Stereo/Quad for fold-down monitoring. Feedback Shift appears here as an input-responsive generative instrument: it can excite its own network or accept eight ordinary input lanes, while its CLAP effect identity keeps those host input routes available. Ambisonic instruments use either a 16- or 64-channel host bus; the product page gives the required width. Ambi Encoder Modal can instead publish eight body stems, and Ambi Encoder Membrane Kick can publish sixteen membrane pickups or a stereo downmix on channels 1–2. In an encoded mode, the active order occupies the first (order + 1)^2 channels and should be followed by an ambisonic decoder.
